Brighton Hotel Pattaya Review (2026)

North Pattaya, Thailand

The Bottom Line

8 / 10

Brighton Hotel Pattaya is the best value stay I have found in North Pattaya. At around 2,000 THB a night for a large corner room with a full ocean view, it beats every branded chain at a similar rate. The gym is the standout facility on the property and the main reason I would pick it over the competition: well-equipped, clean, and with a Muay Thai corner that no hotel at this rate has any business having. The rooftop pool has real sunset views over the Gulf, and the location sits far enough off the main road to keep street noise out. Breakfast is not the reason to book here. 8 out of 10.

This Brighton Hotel Pattaya review is based on a stay in April 2026, a week after Songkran. I have stayed here several times before and this visit confirmed what I already knew: for the money, Brighton Pattaya is one of the strongest mid-range options in the city. Here is what I found.

Getting to Brighton Hotel Pattaya: First Impressions

Brighton Hotel sits well inside a residential pocket of North Pattaya, set back from the main coastal road by a stretch of quiet side streets. The first time you drive in, it takes longer than the map suggests. After that, the approach is second nature. What the location gives you in exchange for the extra minutes is proper quiet: this part of North Pattaya is insulated from the traffic and noise that makes a lot of Pattaya hotels difficult to sleep in.

I drove in on my own car. A Grab will get you here without any difficulty, though you will want to confirm the exact address before the driver sets off. There is no practical way to reach Brighton on foot from anywhere useful, so plan around having a car or pre-booking your rides.

Check-in was quick and efficient. The staff processed everything without fuss and I was in the room inside a few minutes. I have stayed at Brighton several times over the years, and on this visit I was put into a corner room with a full ocean view rather than the partial view that some of the lower corner rooms carry. Whether that came from a return-guest note on the booking or just good availability, it made a real difference to the stay.

Tip: Drive yourself or book a Grab in advance. The hotel’s position inside a residential area keeps noise levels low, but it does mean you are committed to having transport sorted before you arrive. Once you know the route, the location is one of the best things about staying here.

The Room

The corner ocean view room is big. I have been through enough Pattaya hotels to know what 2,000 THB normally gets you and this is not it. The layout uses navy blue as the main accent colour against light wood tones and clean white walls. It is not a design-forward hotel in the way that Ana Anan or newer Pattaya properties are, but the room is well put together and nothing looks neglected.

The windows in the corner configuration wrap around 2 walls, which means you get natural light from 2 directions and an actual sense of space. The ocean view from this room is the real thing: open water and city skyline, not a partial angle blocked by the building next door. A word of caution: not all corner rooms at Brighton get the same view. The full ocean view is worth asking for specifically at the time of booking. Lower floors may get a partial sightline.

The closet area has bathrobes, a safe, and adequate hanging space for a multi-night stay. The desk is functional with a telephone and working lamp. The minibar station has 2 water bottles, cups, tea and coffee sachets, and a small refrigerator below the counter. The bathroom is a walk-in rain shower, clean and properly maintained. No bathtub. Toiletries are standard hotel issue. Hair dryer is wall-mounted. Everything works.

Room tip: Ask for a corner room on a high floor when you book and be specific about wanting a full ocean view rather than partial. The difference is significant and worth a short conversation at the time of reservation.

Dining

I did not try breakfast on this visit. I have eaten it on previous stays and my honest take is that it covers the basics without standing out. If breakfast quality matters to your trip, this is not the hotel where it becomes a reason to book. Factor that in when you are comparing rates against properties that include a stronger morning spread.

I ate out during this stay. The area around Brighton in North Pattaya is practical: Terminal 21 Pattaya is 5 minutes by car and has a solid food court and dining options at every price. For a hotel where the room and facilities are the draw, eating out is the sensible call and the options nearby make it easy.

Brighton Hotel Pattaya Pool and Facilities

The rooftop pool looks good. I did not swim on this visit, but the deck was in clear shape and the sun loungers around the perimeter had decent spacing. There were a fair number of guests using it during the afternoon. The pool is not large. What it does have is the best view on the property: looking out over the Gulf from the rooftop at sunset is one of those things that makes the rate feel even more reasonable than it already is.

The gym is where Brighton punches well above its rate. It has a full dumbbell rack, weight benches, cable machines, treadmills, and a Muay Thai corner with Fairtex boxing gloves. That last one is not something you expect at a 2,000 THB hotel. There is also a snooker table in the recreation area. The whole space is clean and properly maintained, which matters more in a hotel gym than raw equipment count.

Location and Getting Around

Brighton Hotel is in North Pattaya, which means a different kind of stay compared to being on Beach Road or in South Pattaya. The surrounding area is quieter and more residential. You are not within walking distance of the beach or the main entertainment strip, and that is fine if you have a car. If you are expecting to walk everywhere, this is not the right pick.

Terminal 21 Pattaya is about 5 minutes by car and covers most practical needs: shopping, food court, pharmacies. Central Pattaya Beach is 8 minutes. Walking Street is around 15 in the other direction. Grab works reliably for all of it. None of those drives feel like a compromise once you have slept in the quiet the location gives you.

North Pattaya is also closer to the main Bangkok road. If you are driving in from Suvarnabhumi, you reach Brighton before you hit the chaos of South Pattaya traffic, which is a practical advantage on arrival and departure days.

What Works and What to Keep in Mind

What Works

  • Best room-to-baht value in North Pattaya: a large corner ocean view room for 2,000 THB
  • Gym is a standout: dumbbell rack, cable machines, cardio, Muay Thai corner, all well-maintained
  • Quiet location well insulated from Pattaya street noise and traffic
  • Rooftop pool delivers genuine sunset views over the Gulf of Thailand
  • Return guests may receive meaningful room upgrades: worth noting at check-in

Keep in Mind

  • A car or pre-booked Grab is essential: the hotel is not accessible on foot from the beach or main road
  • Breakfast is functional, not a highlight: plan to eat out if the morning meal matters to you
  • Corner room views vary by floor: ask specifically for a high-floor full ocean view when booking
  • Pool gets busy in the afternoons: go early if you want a quieter swim

Brighton Hotel Pattaya Review: Final Verdict

8/10

Very Good

This Brighton Hotel Pattaya review keeps landing at the same answer: it is the clearest value case in North Pattaya. The room is large, the ocean view is real, and the gym outperforms most 4-star properties in the city. At 2,000 THB a night with a rooftop pool and Gulf of Thailand sunsets thrown in, the branded chains at a similar rate simply do not have an answer. Breakfast is not the reason to book it, and you need a car to work the location. Everything else is why I keep coming back.

  • Best value large ocean view room in North Pattaya
  • Gym facility punches well above the room rate
  • Quiet location that actually lets you sleep
  • Rooftop sunset views over the Gulf of Thailand

Brighton Hotel Pattaya Review: Frequently Asked Questions

Is Brighton Hotel Pattaya worth it?

Yes, if value matters to you. At around 2,000 THB a night for a large corner room with an ocean view, Brighton Hotel Pattaya offers a room size and gym quality that the branded chains at a similar price do not match. The rooftop pool has proper sunset views, and the quiet North Pattaya location works well if you have a car.

Where is Brighton Hotel Pattaya located?

Brighton Hotel is in North Pattaya, set well back from the main road inside a quiet residential area. Terminal 21 Pattaya is about 5 minutes by car. Central Pattaya Beach is 8 minutes. The location keeps road noise out of the rooms, which is a real advantage at this price. You need a car or Grab to get around.

Does Brighton Hotel Pattaya have a pool?

Yes. The rooftop infinity pool is clean and well-maintained. The sunset views from up there over the Gulf of Thailand are the best on the property. It gets busy in the afternoons, particularly on weekends. Sun loungers have decent spacing around the deck.

What is the gym like at Brighton Hotel Pattaya?

The gym is the standout facility at Brighton Hotel Pattaya. It has a full dumbbell rack with weight benches, cable machines covering major muscle groups, treadmills and cardio equipment, and a Muay Thai corner with Fairtex boxing gloves. There is also a snooker table in the recreation area. For a hotel at this price point, the gym level is genuinely impressive.

What room type should I book at Brighton Hotel Pattaya?

Book a corner room and ask specifically for a high floor with a full ocean view. Not all corner rooms at Brighton get the same sightline: lower floors can return a partial view rather than an open water panorama. Being specific at the time of booking makes a real difference to the room experience.

Is Brighton Hotel Pattaya good for families?

Yes. The room size is a practical advantage for families, the gym and pool give kids and adults something to do on property, and the North Pattaya location is quieter and more residential than the main strip. Terminal 21 Pattaya is a short drive away for shopping and food. It is a sensible family base at a rate that leaves budget for the city.
